From replacing tired fittings to improving the layout, CDI Contractors can help with bathroom upgrades that make the space more practical, comfortable and easier to use.
If you are considering an en-suite addition or want to improve an existing one, we can help assess the space, plumbing requirements and layout options to maximise functionality for your space.
Small spaces require careful planning. We can help with shower rooms, cloakrooms and compact WC areas where good layout, reliable plumbing and neat finishing make all the difference.
For clients who no longer use a bath or want easier access, we can help with practical bath to shower changes, subject to the layout and plumbing requirements of the property.
Bathroom work often involves more than fitting just the new sanitary-ware. We can also help with pipework, taps, toilets, showers, radiators, valves and the practical plumbing changes.

Many clients know they want a better bathroom, but are not sure what is possible within the space they have. That might mean finding room for an en-suite, changing a bath for a shower, improving storage, moving fittings or making a small cloakroom feel more usable. CDI Contractors can help you look at the space practically, considering layout, plumbing, access, product suitability and the work involved before decisions are made.
We can source bathroom materials through our own suppliers, or offer practical guidance if you would prefer to choose and purchase your own fixtures and fittings.
It is very easy to get drawn into Pinterest, Wayfair and all the lovely design ideas online, but not every product will suit every space, plumbing set-up or installation. Before ordering, we always recommend checking compatibility and practicality with the tradesperson carrying out the work. This can help avoid delays, extra costs or products that look good online but are not quite right for the job.
Clients often supply their own main materials, fixtures and fittings, and we’re happy to work this way. In these circumstances, CDI Contractors will provide labour, standard consumables and essential plumbing materials such as pipework, fittings, adhesives, grout and silicone where needed.
Where items are supplied by the client, CDI Contractors is not responsible for product faults, suitability, missing parts, delivery issues, manufacturer warranties, guarantees, returns or replacements. These remain the client’s responsibility and should be handled directly with the supplier or manufacturer.
If supplied items are unsuitable, incomplete, damaged or require additional work to install safely or correctly, this may affect the cost, timing or completion of the project. Any additional labour, materials or alterations required because of an issue with client-supplied items will be discussed and agreed at the point the issue is identified.
Bathrooms need to be practical, comfortable and suited to the people using them. When mobility becomes more challenging, even everyday tasks such as getting into the bath or using the shower can become difficult.
CDI Contractors can help adapt existing bathrooms to make them more accessible, whether that involves replacing a bath with a walk-in shower, installing suitable sanitaryware or making practical changes to the layout.
We also undertake bathroom adaptations as part of M-Pac conversion projects, with the aim of creating spaces that are easier and safer to use while remaining comfortable and attractive.
Every property and individual's requirements are different, so we'll discuss what's needed and assess the space before recommending a practical solution.

Alongside domestic bathrooms and en-suites, CDI Contractors also works with businesses, schools, rental & Air-Bnb properties and commercial premises on practical WC, bathroom, washroom and staff bathroom upgrades.
